Another Fine Myth by Robert Asprin

Another Fine Myth by Robert Asprin was an Audible read.  This is short listen, under six hours, and falls within the fantasy genre.

This little book was weird.  I don’t know whether to classify it as a young adult book or not.  It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t stellar either.  The narration is probably that only reason I continued listening to finish the book if I’m honest.

Supposedly this book is laugh-out-loud funny and yet, I never found it humorous once.  It’s this odd mash-up of characters that belong together but that the reader feels no connection to, stereo-typical fantasy characters, and huge plot holes abound.  The book is almost forty years old and unfortunately, I don’t think it survived the passage of time well.

Two stars out of five because I finished the book which honestly it no reason anyone else should go rushing out to read this book.
