31 Days of Memorable Books, Characters, and Book News for 2015

Book lovers read a lot of books throughout the year, our families are accustomed to finding us with our nose buried in a book.  As the year comes to a close, I find it is a good time to pause and reflect on what made reading this year memorable for me.  Dry spells, bad books, unreadable books and fluff were far outweighed this year by reading new authors, being incredibly surprised at how my reading horizons have expanded, and the unexpected joys I ran across this year.

This year there are a couple of days not strictly devoted to books or authors but rather the larger literary world.  It never fails to surprise me that even the world of books can become mired down in needless controversy which does nothing positive for authors and readers alike.

So, sit back and relax while I stress out trying to get one blog posted every day during the holiday season.  Hopefully, I get far enough ahead that when my Witcher novel arrives this week I won’t be forced to set it aside to blog.
